Gulugod Baboy with Aduana Mountaineers

My friends co-worker invited us to come and join them for their sixth anniversary as Aduana Mountaineers. Sir Ogie, one of the member and our contact person to this big event that we celebrate in Jel Resort, Anilao, Mabini, Batangas. Before it happened, some of us went to climb Gulugod Baboy, a one to two hours of trekking. The trail was well establish, a grassland part near the summit, ocean along the side of the mountain, and the landscape is similar to Mount Ulap in Benguet. There are community in the middle of the mountain, some trail are cemented where you can slip especially when raining. The weather is not that good because of the incoming super typhoon Karen and the light rain poured as we reached the summit. After an hour of picture taking and socials, we started descent because our lunch was waiting in the resort. Their celebration was full of excitement, they had parlor games, raffle draw, dri fit shirt event and a live band that made us feel relax. The eating contest was the interesting part of the games wherein some foods are rare to eat like tongue, eye, liver of pig that made you difficult to eat and swallow. The super typhoon Karen felt two o'clock in the morning, the wind was strong, and we heard the blow of the wind. Our tent were shaken and we thought that it would rip and destroy but fortunately its stable until the typhoon weakens. The other tent was entered by water so they evacuated and transfer to ours. Around six in the morning, here comes the beautiful weather, as usual, back to normal. We had our breakfast, some parlor games and after that, it time to go home.
