After we hiked Mt. Daguldol, we preferred to try the adjacent mountain - Mt. Hugom. Its difficulty was lower than Mt. Daguldol. The trekking hours was reduced by one hour and depending on the pacing of the group. The trail was not yet established, some plants were obstructing our way. In the middle of hiking, we decided to take five, there were a long seat made up of tree branches. Its good to sniff fresh air and feel the cold temperature while resting. Assault trail approached us, half an hour before reaching the summit and I might say, it was a challenging part of the climb. Around 1700H, we arrived at the peak. We begun to pitch our tent and the others were preparing for the dinner. The view were impressive and relaxing our mind, Laiya beach and plains could be seen 360 degrees. This is our first climb wherein our group was composed of ten participants, some are beginners who immediately like to hiked again. We spend overnight in the summit together with Andy player whisky mixed with coca cola drinks. We start descent around ten o'clock in the morning and time for side trip at Laiya beach resort c/o of Kuya Bong, owner of the resort and also the owner of our rented van. The water were clean and blue, cottage were pleasant and satisfying, and it cannot equal the beauty of the coast. On the other side of the shore were rock formation and we spent time for picture taking. We took our lunch in some carenderia in the resort together with refreshing halo-halo. Some of us, take a nap while the others decided to swam. As the sun slowly turning down, people there were playing basketball. Around five o'clock in the afternoon, we decided to packed up our belongings and went home.
