This is it. Our very first climb happened last year ago, month of November. They said, Mt. Maculot was ideal for the beginners like us. This mountain is located in Cuenca, Batangas, a two hours trip from Manila. We started trek at nine o'clock in the morning and then we encounter a muddy trail because at this time the rain come so we decided to take rest at middle station of the trail. We encounter other hikers as well, waiting for the rain to stop. We reach the rockies about two o'clock in the afternoon. The camp site can allocate up to twenty tents and it was complacent for the hiker to pitch there. Our fatigue lessen when we saw the 360 views of rockies, the Taal volcano, and the fresh air breeze on our face. Around five o'clock in the afternoon, it's time to prepare for dinner and socials afterwards. The atmosphere getting colder and colder as night approaches, you can hear the wind blow through the trees. Lights out.
